The White Card Course (CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) is mandatory for all persons performing and / or supervising construction work in QLD, and it covers basic areas of work health and safety for new entrants in the construction industry.
In QLD, the White Card Course can only be completed by undergoing a 5 hour face to face to face seminar or a virtual seminar with an approved provider – self-paced online White Card courses are no longer permitted in QLD.
FACE TO FACE COURSE – available in Brisbane (Logan, Milton and Mango Hill), Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Gladstone.
VIRTUAL SEMINAR – runs for approximately six hours (breaks included) 3 times a week, including on Saturdays. This option will require you to be physically located in Queensland on the day of the virtual seminar, have a personal computer or other appropriate device with a webcam, internet access, as well as a hard hat, eye and ear protection, and a high-viz safety vest at the time of the Virtual Seminar (you can purchase these items from Bunnings).
The bundle covers both courses required for a QBCC owner builder permit: the online, self-paced QLD Owner Builder Course, and the White Card Course (CPCWHS1001) completed via a 5-hour face-to-face seminar or a live virtual seminar.
